Trip Video: Tofino, British Columbia

Tofino, British Columbia, Canada Photo by Fugue Photo

A big thank you to the folks at Tourism Tofino for helping make this trip possible by securing us a slightly discounted rate at Ocean Village and a comped surfing lesson with Pacific Surf School in exchange for sharing our experience with you here on the blog.

Throughout this year, I've taken between one to two trips per month - but I don't think I've taken a vacation. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever really taken a vacation, until our trip to Tofino. Located on the isolated west coast of Vancouver Island, Tofino is one of those places that's never going to leave me. There's just something special about it - it may be that it makes me think of Neverland or that it's a surf town. Either way, I can safely say I left part of my heart in Tofino and I know I'll be going back as soon as I can.

Despite the icy temperatures during our off-season November visit - the sun was shining and the sunsets were epic. We got in our share of hikes, golden hour photo shoots, and even a short surf lesson. Sadly, I had to stay beach bound as part of my concussion recovery - but getting to hang out on a beautiful beach all day is quite alright with me. Hope you enjoy our latest trip video from this beautiful place!
