Things I'm Reading Thursday
Seattle parks just got even more awesome: it's a food forest!
War reporters seriously inspire me. My very first real "when I grow up I want to be" job was to be a journalist and when I started looking at colleges I was looking for journalism programs, instead I found a new small program at San Diego State University called International Security & Conflict Resolution.
Great post from Jeanne of the Art of Gluten Free Baking; Gluten-Intolerance Initial Diagnosis Survival Sheet. Possibly one of the best things that happened to my diet after going gluten free was not eating as many processed foods.
Our local (and awesome) farmers market here in Ballard has a new gluten free vendor, Dolce Lu! They also talk about one of my other favorite vendors, Loki Fish.
Tara from Tea & Cookies takes us on a wonderful tour and weekend in Seattle. This makes me remember why I love this city so much, I need to take her advice and get out more. She mentions some of my favorite establishments like Miro Tea and the Noble Fir.
A wonderful post about starting a life together over at Reclaiming Wife.
Oh and one thing I recently finished reading in actual print (because I'm working to decrease my screen time and well, I like flipping the pages of an actual book-it gives me a feeling of accomplishment); The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.
